1. Who we are

WHITEMARBLE CONSULT LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as WhiteMarble Consults, is a Nigerian company (RC 1834742) providing data protection, business registration, tax, licences and digital solutions. We are licensed as a Data Protection Compliance Organisation by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (Licence Ref: NDPC/DPCO/14600, valid until 21 July 2027).

Offices: Dr. Victor Olaiya Avenue, Agege, Lagos, Nigeria; and 7 Sholuade Street, Ijeun Titun, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we process personal data when you use www.whitemarbleconsults.ng, submit our contact form, email us, call us, or message us on WhatsApp. It is intended to align with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA) and applicable regulations. Client engagements may be covered by additional terms in a proposal or engagement letter.

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact data — name, organisation, email address, phone number.
  • Enquiry data — service interest, message content, and any details you choose to share about your compliance needs.
  • Communication data — records of email, WhatsApp or phone conversations related to your enquiry or engagement.
  • Technical data — limited server or browser information if logged by our hosting environment (for example IP address, browser type, date/time of access).

We do not knowingly collect special-category data through the public website form. Please do not submit sensitive personal data via the form unless we specifically request it under a secure engagement process.

4. How we use your data

We process personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and schedule discovery calls.
  • Prepare proposals and deliver agreed services.
  • Communicate about your matter via email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Maintain business records and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
  • Improve our website and service quality in a limited, proportionate way.

Legal bases may include your consent (for example, submitting a form), performance of a contract or steps prior to contract, and our legitimate interests in operating a professional consultancy — balanced against your rights.

5. Website forms

Information submitted through the consultation form is used only to respond to your request and related follow-up. The form is currently a front-end demonstration unless connected to a backend processor; do not rely on the form alone for time-critical or confidential matters. Prefer email or WhatsApp for urgent contact.

6. Email and WhatsApp

When you email hello@whitemarbleconsults.ng, whitemarbleconsults@gmail.com, or message +234 806 931 6435 on WhatsApp, we process the content you send to manage your enquiry or engagement. Messaging apps are third-party platforms with their own privacy policies; we encourage you not to send highly sensitive documents over unsecured chat without prior agreement.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers who support our operations (for example email or hosting providers), professional advisers, or regulators where required by law. Where we act for you with CAC, tax authorities or other regulators, we share only what is necessary for the engagement.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose of collection, meet legal or professional requirements, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type; contact us if you want more detail about a specific category.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please use commercial judgement when sharing information online.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise rights or raise a privacy concern, email hello@whitemarbleconsults.ng with the subject line “Privacy request”.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

This site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality. If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice or controls.

12. Third-party links

Our site may link to LinkedIn, X, Instagram or other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
